			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p class="bodytext">The Adelaide 36ers are proud to announce the release of the &quot;Patty Mills&quot; seats for this seasons 36ers games.<br /><br />After visiting Adelaide for the recent Boomers game versus Argentina, Mills and 36ers CEO Ben Fitzsimons decided to work together to encourage indigenous youth to become more involved in basketball.<br /><br />Mills has purchased a number of seats to every 36ers game this season with a view to rewarding young indigenous kids who stay in school with a trip to a 36ers game.<br /><br />Each visiting school will be announced at 36ers home games this season.<br /><br />Local indigenous youth mentor and former NBL basketballer, Paul Vandenbergh, will work with the 36ers to identify the best recipients of the Patty Mills seats.<br /><br />Mills himself grew up in Ceduna and is a great inspiration to young children of what can be achieved in life. Mills and the 36ers are hoping that this programme will introduce some new talent to basketball as well as instill a sense of achievement for all the recipients.</p>]]></content:encoded>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p class="bodytext">The Adelaide 36ers would like to confirm that their second import signing for 2010/11 will be former West Sydney Razorbacks guard Troy DeVries.</p>
<p class="bodytext">DeVries played 30 games for the Razorbacks in 2007/08 and averaged 16.9 points, 2.4 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 27.8 minutes per game.</p>
<p class="bodytext">Renowned as an outstanding three-point shooter, he made 43.6% of his three-pointers and shot 45.6% from the field.<br /><br />The 195cm guard was a star at the University of New Mexico and left school as that college's all-time leader in three-point shooting.</p>

<p class="bodytext">Winder represents the results of an exhaustive search by the Adelaide 36ers to find the right man to lead the team on court this season.<span id="1279681851776S" style="display: none;">&nbsp;</span></p>
<p class="bodytext">Winder played in College for the Texas Longhorns alongside NBA superstar Kevin Durant as well as Charlotte Bobcat, DJ Augustin. <p class="bodytext">To ensure that the club has it's own identity within the league, we have chosen to return to blue, the colour in which we have won 3 championships.</p>
<p class="bodytext">With three other teams wearing predominantly red uniforms this season, this move has been taken to ensure the 36ers stand alone in their look whilst still maintaining our state colours as part of the uniform, and will be a change for the long term.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p class="bodytext">The Adelaide 36ers have finally secured Brad Newley's name on the back  of their NBL singlet.<span id="1278912522579S" style="display: none;">&nbsp;</span><br /><br />But no, the outstanding 198cm Boomers Olympic guard has not turned his back on Lithuania's Lietuvos Rytas and the European season for a run at last with the 36ers.<br /><br />It's all part of a club promotion allowing fans to be &quot;Part of the Team&quot;.<br /><br />&quot;We're trying to give our fans a chance to do something unique and have their name on our NBL uniforms,&quot; Sixers chief executive Ben Fitzsimons said.<br /><br />There is room for 500 names on the 36ers' top and already 125 at $150 have been snapped up by fans eager to be, well, &quot;part of the team&quot;.<br /><br />&quot;Your name can be on the back of the singlet for the season,&quot; Fitzsimons said.<br /><br />&quot;It's open to all of our fans and we think it would make a fairly unique birthday or Christmas present.&quot;<br /><br />As for Boomers star Newley, his name is not part of a promotional gimmick.<br /><br />&quot;No, Brad was one of the first to buy a spot on the top,&quot; Fitzsimons said.</p>

<p class="bodytext">Monday July 5th and July 6th from 4pm – 6pm will see 25 of South Australia's best up and coming basketballers showcasing their talents in front of new 36ers coach Marty Clarke.</p>
<p class="bodytext">Marty Clarke and his assistant Mark Radford have spent the last few weeks watching Central ABA games and have extended invites to all local clubs to nominate their best young talent.</p>
<p class="bodytext">Marty Clarke will&nbsp; be available to speak to media at 3:45pm Monday and Tuesday to discuss the recruiting process and his views of talent in South Australia.<br /><span id="1278049622981S" style="display: none;">&nbsp;</span></p>]]></content:encoded>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p class="bodytext">Boomers talent and NBA player Patty Mills recently visited Brett Maher Court to meet a group of indigenous youngsters and answer questions from 36ers fans.</p>
<p class="bodytext">Expected to lead the Boomers from the point guard spot in the upcoming series against Argentina in Australia, Patty posed for photographs and signed autographs with the indigenous talent at the Adelaide clinic.</p>
<p class="bodytext">Adam Ballinger, Brad Hill and Jacob Holmes were also there to help out.</p>
